Career Transition For Dancers Workshop

Today at ASM , we had a workshop from The Career Transition For Dancers program headed by Maryellen Langhout. She is the contact career counselor for the program. Maryellen helps dancers ages sixteen and up with career interests and assesments, cover letters and resume instruction, networking and interview coaching, college search and application procedures, also academic and financial aid advising. I felt like this information was really helpful to us as dancers because it helps us move in the right direction as far as trying to assess what type of dancing career we want to be in , if we choose to be in one.
